Yuck! I tried the Justin's once and I thought it was awful. And I love chocolate!
Anonymous wrote:The pumpkin and egg taste different because they are much thicker, thus the peanut butter to chocolate ratio is much higher than it is for the little cups.

Anonymous wrote:Hmm, I hadn't noticed. I do notice that M & Ms don't taste the same as they used to. I think they use more cheap candy shell, and less chocolate. I used to LOVE them, but they really aren't the same.

I think the traditional peanut butter cups are ok. I hate the Halloween/Easter bunny shaped ones too, though.
I still go for Snickers. It was my favorite as a kid and it tastes the same?

Trader Joe's little peanut butter cups are awesome.

and don't get me started on McDonald's french fries - those used to be SO delicious
McDonald's french fries used to be good because they fried them in lard. They switched to vegetable oil in a (misguided) attempt to make them "healthier". When in France, I stop at a McDonald's there, just to buy french fries. They taste like ours used to taste.

I think the chocolate alone tastes different, like rubberier or something.
Maybe they had to change the recipe in order to make the shape?
