My DH is 10 years younger than me. If he was a gold digger I'm pretty sure he was disappointed in that area.
My in laws are 6 months apart, FIL older.
My parents, now divorced, are also about 6 months apart, father older.

My mother, who was significantly younger than my father, nursed him at home for over 6 years, paying out of pocket for nursing assistants, meds, and medical supplies. Years later, and a million gone, she wished she had invested in long-term healthcare. Furthermore, during that stage of life, when she was free to travel, she was stuck at home.

So you say you're in love now, but I'd like to see how you'd handle a situation similar to the one above.
My mother is 10 years younger than my father and has also been suffering because of his declining health.

Possibly "daddy issues" too.
NP here. Our age difference is 11 years. Sometimes, as in our case, it is truly love. DH was making a modest salary ($70k) and he looks a lot younger than he is. When we met, I honestly had no idea how old he was. My dad and I do have a good relationship, so certainly no "daddy issues".
