I forgot to mention, I wish I'd known about the level of paranoia in the Koolaid drinkers.

And I wish I'd known the lengths trolls and liars will go to attack parents who choose private schools.

Another INSECURE private school parent

How do you come up with the THIRTY GRAND for tuition? Or SIXTY GRAND.

Seriously, the $400 x 2 kids x two weeks of camp over break is super small potatoes.

Or are your kids at an inexpensive parochial school.

Or we were receiving financial aid and still struggling to pay tuition you idiot. That is why we had to stress over $400 a week for several more weeks.

Seriously. We didn't get FA, but we aren't rich, so it was still a struggle to pay tuition. $400 x 2 kids for 8 weeks of summer camp only increased the financial burden.

I wouldn't think those were trolls. I am thinking that they are talking about fit. Each school has a different social groove even if the schools are similar. The girl who is a great fit at Foxcroft may only be a good or ok fit at Madeira. The same girl will fit in differently at NCS than at Holton-Arms. The same way her parents may cut differently at each. Because the same people aren't at every school the dynamic is going to be different.

You're saying that anyone who has doubts about private school must be a troll from the public schools? Uh, OK then.
