How do you know most women are not animals in bed after they have been married for a while and how often most women have sex? Given your attitude, maybe that is why you aren't getting any from your DW.

Nothing vanilla about my sex life and I have been married over 20 years. In fact, I think we lost our inhibitions a long the way because of our love and trust in each other and the need to switch things up to keep things fresh and new. There are things we do now I would have never considered when we first started having sex. I love it, my DH loves it, so we have sex on average 3-4 times per week.

I do think women's sex drives take a huge dip during the baby years. Nothing like having someone sucking on your nipples all day long to make you feel like not being touched. But my DH hung in there and after the kids got older, we got back into having sex more frequently. He was patient, chipped in to give me support, and did not stray along the way. He also took the initiative to ask for it when he needed it and didn't keep score.


How do I know? I read DCUM and hear from other guys. Unscientific, huh? You've got a scientific method, I see, i.e., your own personal experience.

Had kids in my late 20's and early 30's. Something clicked when I hit my 40's and I wanted to explore more of my sexuality. My DH has always been a great lover and very inventive so we weren't 100% vanilla even then, but he had always been the one introducing new stuff over the years. Things I started to desire and ask for: anal, rim jobs, 6/9 position. Introduced new toys: cuffs (my favorite), blindfolds, rabbit. Switched up places and time of day when I initiated sex: ex. more morning shower sex, sex in the middle of the day even while the kids are in the house (challenging but thrilling), sex in the kitchen, family room couch, etc. when the kids are out. Asked him more of what he wanted and liked. I get a high out of doing what he likes and satisfying him. It's a great feeling.

Nobody has outright come forward and said "do me", but I'm not a bad looking guy and in very good shape so I probably could have done something on a business trip but don't pursue it. On the other hand, I would be crushed if my wife cheated.


Could you live with yourself if you had a one night stand and you wife never knew about it?


If it did happen, I would chalk it up to a bad decision and live with it by never doing it again.
