Totally agree. Pulled our baby out a while ago and were fortunate enough to find a spot elsewhere. Management was completely dismissive of parent concerns--they only ever wanted to talk about getting their check.

Like what? You can look up the inspection reports. There has been some turnover and nobody knows if they have a lease ending or a new location.

Roaches are nasty, but they're not going to poison your kids.

So roaches are safe? Because the weather hasn't turned for the warmer yet.

The health depart inspector can answer your questions . The licensing office can tell you or you can look at the old violations showing the roaches are haven been there for sometime. They predate the construction. So long as your kid doesn't eat them it's probably ok.

My daughter will be going there there but this worries me, especially since they do not allow you to bring your own food. I asked the director about it and she very briefly said it was adressed.

Health departments apparently disagreed with you.
Based on observation, the center's kitchen area and infant rooms are not being maintained in a clean and safe manner. Evidence: 1. Assistant Director and a parent observed roaches on 9/18/2012 in the kitchen area while retrieving bottles from the kitchen refrigerator. 2. Licensing Inspector observed roaches (dead and alive) in the kitchen area on the counter tops, cabinets and in the corners during the complaint investigation on 9/19/2012. 3. The Health Department did an inspection on 9/19/2012 and observed "extreme" roach activity in the lower cabinets in the kitchen as well as the mop closet and infant room cabinetry.
The were given a couple days to come up with a remedy.
