That's almost more annoying since they have no idea what they really are talking about but will bloviate on and on about natural looks.
And I don't think any young guys expect us to be "totally natural" when it comes to our bikini area.

If I listened to a man about my beauty treatments, I would probaly be a hairy, pale, wrinkled, dirty dishwater blonde gal. Guys, especially the young ones, want us to be "totally natural". Gag! Do what you want. Why are you telling him in the first place? Do you consult him on face cream? "Oh honey, you are beautiful without it." Then you catch him checking out some hot chick. Oh, and to the person that posted that dumb picture of the two girls with facial fillers, THATS NOT BOTOX, NIMROD.

I can see why..I think Botox looks creepy. Why not embrace your natural look? When I lived overseas, women just didn't do botox and I think they looked much better. Frozen faces don't look good. I don't have any wrinkles yet though (and am 41), so maybe I don't get it, but I will never freeze my face.

Actually, this is the absolute wrong way to approach botox. You should start before the permanent creases are formed in the skin. Botox relaxes the muscle but it will do nothing for the etches that are left once a permanent wrinkle is formed. Early and judicious use of botox will lessen your need for it later and will prohibit the formation of deep creases that will only getter better by use of lasers.
I would honestly wait if I were you unless you have really aged prematurely and hate the way you look so much that it's effecting how you project yourself to the rest of the world.

There are some beauty treatments that I don't discuss with my husband -- waxing and botox are two. He knows I color my hair. It's not that I deliberately keep it from him, it's just that it's really not his business and frankly, he isn't interested. No need to have your DH know or weigh in on every little thing you do regarding your appearance.

I've never said anything about it to my DH. not sure if he even notices. OTOH, I wouldn't have had it done at 38 because I didn't need it then. I waited until I was 48. I do it for me and I go to someone who doesn't do a 'frozen' look. I have movement, lines, etc. It just makes me feel and look better. Once you start, though, it's hard to stop.
