I WFH and very rarely top 40hrs, except during busy season (august-september) During December-January, I'm hard pressed to find 20hrs of work to do.
Philistine saleslady again.

Not all non-profits are charitable organizations. Some are large trade associations representing hundreds of thousands of members with a focus on lobbying, policy, and retirement/benefit plan administration. I work for one and executive level salaries are into the $200,000 range.

I have a masters and a professional license, and work 30h/wk. My kids are pretty young (3 and 5), so this is what works for us right now, with me having a reduced schedule and therefore reduced salary.

I'll be looking for a job that pays me what I'm worth at some point, but right now with small kids this is the tradeoff I'm making to stay in the workforce. I'm 34.
I can't wait for the day when I bring home a real paycheck though...
