I am a lawyer at BigLaw. Women (and men) say "easy peasy" all the time here. We're all very serious people.

Not the poster you quoted but I work in a child development field at Georgetown, I said this to my boss with a Ph.D and she answered with lemon squeezy! I don't think it displays a lack of intelligence but I get that it wouldn't be acceptable in other fields. I am not worried about what people think of me for saying it occasionally, I think there are times when it is appropriate to be silly.
