Omg! My husband and son both sneeze so loudly and it makes me crazy! I thought only men did this. Equally annoying are the women who do the high pitched squeaky "choo" sound. They think it's cute/funny and then when someone gives them attention for it they're like "oops! I can't help it!" Very cringey.

My boss hated the office sneeze screamer so much she was fired.

I scream when I sneeze. I do it when I'm alone in a room too. Who will give me attention then? The wall? It's not a call for attention, I assure you.

My mother and my aunt both do that! It startles me and anyone else within a 20-foot radius.

My grandpa was a loud sneezer. He owned 3 homes on one lot. He lived in the front one, my fam in the middle one, anyway I used to hear him sneeze from my house. I would run to the door and shout "salud" (which is bless you in Spanish). His sneezes never bothered me (I miss him) and I even gen a kick out the fact that I now sometimes sneeze as loud as him.
I can't control my sneezes, they are sudden and don't come in multiples.

My dad does the scream sneeze and it scares the crap out of me every time and it is just so annoying. Of course he claims he can't control it, but the truth is that he only does it at home. When he is out in public, he is able to control it. I agree with others who think it is some ploy for attention.

I wonder why people don't just put their hands over their mouth when they do it? That would stifle the noise. I know my dad doesn't do that because he has OCD, and he wouldn't want to get snot all over his hands.

Someone was standing next to me on the metro the other day and sneezed-screamed directly into my ear. I almost went deaf.

I HATE when people yell out a sneeze. I find it so irritating. You can muffle it with your inner elbow, just like how you're supposed to cough into that area. Please just do that.

My husband does and it drives me effing nuts. I always feel like he's trying to draw attention to himself, because I can easily control the volume of mine. But, he swears he can't control it.

LOL. I used to work for this woman who was about 5' tall, but her sneeze sounded like a beast of hell, deep and shouting--and she literally said AH-CHOO, except like it rhymed with "below". She'd be talking normal and then all of a sudden AHHH-CHOOOOO!!!!
