Yes and she is awesome. I couldn't ask for a better leader for the school that is as energetic, passionate, caring as she is. She just gets it. We have been to one other charter and another public in another city.

I agree there will be movement between now and October as there is for any school. And this year pretty much every family I knew entered lottery even if they were happy (mine among this group) because of the location uncertainty. When those calls off the waitlist start coming from other talked about charters and DCPSs it'll be interesting to see what happens. In fact I don't know what I would do in a couple of cases.
While I think the education this year has been top notch I don't know how it compares to the Magnificient Seven charter for example because we've never gone there. And it would be nice to be at a place where things were established.
What is the Magnificent Seven Charter? Thanks!

Staff: black ED, white Principle, 1 black Operations Manager and 1 white PM. Sounds pretty diverse to me. And to the previous PP that's looking for Native American teachers, I think that would be hard to get with a DC Native American population of 0.3%. It's also fair to say that most highly qualified Hispanic teachers get heavily courted by the immersions. IT is very diverse.

To the best of my memory: PS3 classes - AA male and Caucasian female Master Teachers, AA male and Caucasian female Residents
PK - AA female Master Teacher, Caucasian female Resident
K - AA female Lead Teacher, Caucasian female Resident
1st- Caucasian female Master Teacher, AA male Resident
2nd- Caucasian male Master Teacher, Caucasian female Resident
3rd - Caucasian female Master Teacher, Caucasian male Resident
Please explain how this is not diverse.
