The detective who initially investigated the shooting wanted to charge Zimmerman with manslaughter. The state attorney said no and Zimmerman was allowed to walk. Investigation had ceased at that point. The investigation was reconstituted after the media took ahold of this miscarriage of justice.

I think Zimmermans dad is a judge.

The thing about gang signs is just not true. If you're referring to the shirtless photo of the boy with his middle fingers stuck up, that's a photo from a Facebook page of a boy in Georgia named Trayvon Martin who is alive.

If you're referring to some other photo, please post it here. People are running wild with the whole "all black people look alike" thing and trying to pass of photos of any random black kid as the Trayvon who was killed.

Also, if Zimmerman's nose was broken and he had serious cuts, why didn't he go to the hospital? And don't tell me the police giving him first aid was adequate; I didn't know they learned to fix broken noses at the police academy.

We seem to have incontrovertible evidence here that there are two ways to interpret the event and the evidence must be weighed to decide which is true. THAT, my friends, is what a trial is for.

BTW he did not go for treatment the night of the incident.
