It is rude. Really, really rude to talk on your cell phone in public. I could see maybe a 30 second call. Otherwise you step outside. Damn. Were you people raised by animals?

+1. I hate it when women use their phones in quiet salons. It's a time to relax. The last time I had my hair done in a McLean salon there was one woman who was barking away at her phone loudly in the hairwashing area (same room as the salon) so much so that I raised my eyes to the shampoo attendant and whispered "can you move me" and she did. The loud woman never got the hint and kept on at her phone arranging play dates and other personal stuff in a loud manner for the next 30 minutes. Other than asking the salon manager/owner to say something there's not much else you can do. I would have been very annoyed.

Maybe that's her natural resting face.

Glaring lady was in the wrong. Ridiculous. I bet those of you were kicking up such a fuss about a quiet conversation in a nail salon are the same people who cluelessly let their kids scream their way through the place in stores restaurants etc. I rather hear the phone call.
