What she did was gross and rude. But, you should bring it up to her and explain why you want to cut the ties, don't let her play dumb.
As far as having the same friends circle, take the high road. Don't blabbermouth to everyone about what happened. If someone asks her why you guys no longer talk, I'm sure she'll have to get creative.
