The reality is, unless you have a family history, the types of polyps they find have only a 1% chance of being cancerous.
In some countries, they simply do the hemo test yearly or a sigmoid in-office, because 98% of all issues are found in the lower colon.
Trust me, you do not want the sigmoidoscopy. It is barbaric.
