Totally agree. People are not reading into what you're saying. We all act petty and childish sometimes, and even say things we shouldn't to our kids, when we are under stress. the key is figuring out what's causing that tension and finding better ways to cope. good luck!

How is your marriage? What is the issue - that he tries to punish you in underhand ways? What solutions have you tried? What was the earlier argument about?
