This thread went from saying where are the hot dads to criticizing middle aged moms. Can we get back to where are the hot dads without being mean?

Also, shouldn't we be talking about Chinese immersion? Because I could put up with an occasional bully if my kid was better prepared for the coming global economy than yours.

I'm with you... except for the "non-bully" thing, which is absolutely essential under any circumstances.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To think someone is attractive is not a big deal. Some parents are single. It maybe the way they carry themselves or how they interact with the other parents that makes them attractive. I believe that a married person can "look but not touch" and be normal. I have to agree with the mom that said ,Hearst has some hotties. I am married to a wonderful man but he knows that I'm human and so is he.

Part of me thought this thread was a joke and kind of funny, but some of the responses are worrisome. You're happy your not at 3:15 pick up so you don't miss the ugly people? In my four years at Janney I've met some of the greatest people I've met in Washington -- probably has to do with the fact that they are more interested in their kids and their jobs and building a community than in the latest handbags or boob jobs. For eye candy I have Matt Damon or George Clooney. I'm really not looking for it at pick up.

Really, in the middle of the day you don't look presentable? Someone does not need to be decked out to look hot, in fact if they have to be they probably are not. I think I probably look as good or better better casual on the weekends than during the workweek. That said we are not there for jamboree or 3:15 pick up so cannot comment on the substance. Good to know what I am not missing.

If you are truly hot, then it doesn't matter if you are wearing yoga pants / track pants with your hair in a ponytail / stubble on your face.
