i second the recommendation to make onigiri. deceivingly yummy for being so simple. you can even fancy it up with some bento flakes or sprinkles they sell at the grocery store (at least, they sell them at wegmans)

In addition to HMart, Wegmans has sushi grade fish -- call them.
