The sad thing here is that some posters are just completely unhinged from all moorings. And that happens when there is a political party, in its quest for purity, has ended up deranged from inbreeding. Jeff and others have been fairly eloquent here in rebutting the baseless claims on the president and his focus over the last three years. Whether you like the Affordable Care Act or not, the president has racked up several legislative accomplishments. What is W's legacy: two botched wars, blowing through our surplus, and a prescription drug plan for seniors that is better known for its donut hole than actual coverage. He blew a royal flush as well as tarnished the silver spoon in his mouth.

you left out shrinking the goverement and gutting regulations/breaking up unions. Freedom...thats what created the most powerful and wealthiest nation the world has ever seen in a mere 200 years. Civilizations that were around for centuries were left in the dust by our limited goverment model. The more government....the weaker we get.

Obama didn't think so. he thought the economy was so strong that he could waste a whole year on Obamacare. Obamacare dominated the first year of his presidency, he ignored jobs, the economy and gave them backseat priority. He didn't act when the country needed him and now everythingis his fault.

Yeah, health care is out of control, takes up 18% of our GDP and costs are spiraling out of control. That comes out of paychecks, our federal budget, and employer profits. Apparently totally irrelevant to jobs. How dare he try to fix a 2.5 trillion dollar black hole. What was he thinking?

Six months ago, all Republicans cared about was our national debt. And medicare is a big honking part of our budget and that hole needs to be fixed. Oh, and tax cuts. And when someone is actually unemployed, you tell them to "get a job" like it's their fault they aren't working. Even now they are stalling passage of the payroll tax holiday for what? An oil pipeline.

So let me get this right: The debt, tax cuts, and oil pipelines. Come to think of it, Republicans had a lot of priorities other than jobs. So the question is, when are the YOU going to "focus" on jobs?
