I will admit to doing the photo cards the last few years. Just too busy. Though I tend to do the folded ones and write a note inside.
Even though I like the family "newsletters" it is only for entertainment purposes. Too much vanity, too many pictures, too syrupy sweet.

I keep all of the ones i get! I have a photo album that I print out a label for each year and add all of the photo cards we get for Xmas and birth announcements, etc.

Why do you bother? E cards ARE tacky. Nobody wants one. It is not a substitute for a real card.
It is funny that you admit it is tacky and still you don't care. It is like saying "I send Chia Pets and fruitcakes to all my relatives. I don't care if they are tacky or taste awful. If I sent you a "real" gift you might not like it anyway so at least I am not wasting my time."
