For the person making comments abt 3yr olds on monkey bars....
I have a 3 yr old DD, and guess what ppl, she plays on th monkey bars!!! So what! She can't reach the top obviously so I hold her while she goes thru the bars. But she's allowed!!! If someone pushed her that wouldn't be our fault but the aggessors, even if it's a child.

You could not have been spotting or had your hands tightly gripped on the child if another kid could actually knock the child off the monkey bars. 3 is VERY young to be on the monkey bars even with supervision and this is probably why.
You're a fucking bitch. What's OP supposed to be doing while she waits to hear from her DH? Put on a hair shirt and self flagellate? Be shopping online for a tazer so that the next rowdy older child who so much as looks at her DD the wrong way will get what's coming to him?
I know that when was at my wits end, and couldn't do anything but sit at the computer and reach out to strangers, it worked for me. The OP couldn't go anywhere or do anything. She had sleeping kids at home.
I would have called friends/family versus posting about it on a board for strangers. I mean, look at the feedback she has gotten so far. Hunt down the other child? She should not have put the child on the monkey bars? She should not be drinking? Sorry, rather deal with family and friends for comfort and support.
So what's your point? The only way she should handle it is the way you would handle it?

This was in response to one of the PPs (not to do with OP) - and if you are still reading: I agree with above. Your nephew was misdiagnosed.
To OP: Our thoughts are with you! I hope your daughter is OK and will have a speedy recovery! Just a horrible horrible day for you, but tomorrow will be better!!! Sending all the best wishes!!!

i'm sorry there is something super wrong with this entire thread. the neighbor's involvement, demonizing this "other child" noone knows a damn thing about, and just the whole thing.

I know dad is in the hospital right now, but IF her daughter ends up having a concussion or other issues, she might want to be sober and alert. I know we are probably talking about a glass of wine... but still.
OP wishing you all the best! I honestly would be furious about what happened, I truly hope the boy who pushed her realizes the consequences of his behavior. (if he can't because of an illness, I truly hope his caregiver realizes the consequences of his behavior!)
Not sure if asshole is the right word, but you do sound like a total prig.
I think asshole works.

OMG her daughter is in the hospital, would you lay the fuck off?
OP I hope you go back to the park and try to find that boy and his parents and let them know what he caused.
OMG her daughter is in the hospital and she is on DCUM. GASP.
