My newest Trader Joe's find: they have frozen yogurt that's plain yogurt flavor, like the "original" flavor soft serve froyo at fro-zen-yo and other places, but hard, like ice cream. It's in the freezer section with the other ice cream. Sooooo good. It's tangier than the soft serve. My kids are even loving it. I've been letting them have some as an after-dinner treat, with a few berries on top.

Sorry to go all DCUM on the "I let my kid stand on the grocery cart" but I can't help myself. Please don't do this. Of course they stry to stop you--it's a liability issue. You are on their private property using their carts and they have an interest in making sure they don't have to mop up your kid's brains later or have you sue them when your own negligence leads to such an accident. Just don't do it, it's asking for trouble.

Also along the lines of I can't help myself--the chocolate covered caramels. MMMM. And chili-spiced mango. YUMMMM.

Going through wiithdraws from the TJ Candied Ginger; which has been out of stock since Dec 10. I should call DEA or soemthing to check their produccts...

My 5yo daughter has flipped a TJ's cart onto herself. She knows better than to stand on it and isn't allowed to do so, but she wasn't really paying attention, put her foot on it, held the side, and wham. I doubt she'll forget again -- but it was frightening. She was ok. Thankfully I had taken my younger child out of the front of the cart only a few minutes before.

Their carts are extraordinarily tippy and I'd imagine they know that, thus the warnings. I'm shocked they've not replaced them all with slightly wider carts.

It's no joke. I have witnessed it at TJ's and at least one other store where the child was hanging on to the side of the cart and it tipped over, rather violently. The children seemed to be fine but it was scary. The mother in the TJ's incident was not paying attention and she turned and screamed bloody murder but did not act. Of course the closest employee responded and many other shoppers. She just stood there, stunned. I agree any business is concerned about liability, they have hefty insurance premiuims to pay.
