My 3rd grade in Loudoun County just received his NNAT score. I was very disappointed. He scored a 30%. He received a CoGAT score of 59% in 2nd grade. Should I bother with a referral? He has received 95 and above on all his tests in class.
This thread is about AAP in Fairfax County. I have no idea what programs are offered in Loudoun & not sure if others on this thread do either, but we are talking about 1st graders (not 3rd graders) taking the NNAT.
Sounds like your child is a good student, which is something to be proud of, but probably not a kid for advanced programs. Don't worry about it, and be grateful that your child is doing a great job at learning what he should be learning.
