Why don’t you speak Spanish? No pride in your country or culture? I’m Hispanic as well and learned Spanish. I have never been bullied by any other Latino. And I find the first thing other Latinos do is speak to me in Spanish. It’s a common bond. So you not knowing any Spanish sets you apart. Also, you sound elitist, like you have so much more. My family has doctors and lawyers and I went to a T10 university and have never felt anything close to what you mention.
So you are asserting that anyone with ancestors from central or south america, even if they were born and raised in the US, HAS to learn Spanish or...what?

Anonymous wrote:There is colorism in a lot of Central, South American countries and in Caribbean. Hispanic is a weid box to check on census forms. You can even be from Spain ffs. My dad's family was from Spain. I am half Spanish. Yay get to join Hispanic Enployees Club. Not.

The only people surprised that Hispanics can be racist against other Hispanics are White liberals who use words like Latinx.
Yes that is true but I never mentioned if I was white, medium or black Hispanic. I just said I was from South America and I am olive complexion. My brother looks white though. I would say he definitely gets treated different than I do by other Hispanics. But the people I feel who have been bullies are all shades of Hispanic they just tend to be new immigrants as an adult and non South American as a kid.

Prime example of what OP was talking about
Right? I've been following with trainwreck interest as hispanic after hispanic actually bullies OP.
Has nothing to do with bullying. No one posting would care that OP doesn’t speak Spanish, but when OP posts a derogatory post about Hispanics when OP doesn’t even speak Spanish and hasn’t even experienced Hispanic culture besides some superficial interactions, it is offensive.
OP isn’t a spokesperson for Hispanics. The title of post is ridiculous and inflammatory. How long would a post last entitled:
Americans, why do we hate each other?
Blacks, why do we hate each other?
Europeans, we do we hate each other?
Asians, why do we hate each other?
Muslims, why do we hate each other?

One thing most Latinos agree on, they all hate Argentina. Argentinians are lighter skinned and see themselves as more European than Latinos. There is a superiority air about the country.
