Hes English and very funny. Took our 13yo to see him in DC last month.

Second this. My kids like his silent letter day routine.

I haven't watched his whole act but the silent letter day routine and the history of creating passwords are hilarious!

Has he said that? I am sure he leans that way but I guess if he’s not actively supporting, I’m ok. He is a huge Vanderbilt fan. That’s a big part of his personality.

I think he's apolitical/doesn't think about politics, but definitely has MAGA family because he's from Tennessee and just wants to not be political in general. Obviously a privileged position of a straight white man, and conveniently useful for his career since it allows MAGA people to enjoy his comedy without feeling threatened. I assume if you see him in the MAGA-friendly places, it's a lot of MAGA people.

BUT his humor is not MAGA at all and to my knowledge he's never crossed that line and, for instance, performed for any political event that endorsed MAGA or Trump. That's a hard line for me.

There might be something beneficial for there to be a non problematic entertainer who appeals to MAGA and non-MAGA people. Like maybe there is still some culture in common? Even if a lot of it is dumb dad jokes.

He was sitting 2 rows behind Trump at the UFC match this weekend, so I guess that answers the MAGA question.
I was just going to write that but you beat me to it

Bingo! So gross.

That’s so disappointing. Based on his SNL history sketches, I really thought he was better than that. I guess Keenan was writing half of the jokes.

I saw his show and it was not that funny. It was also very short. He had a couple of openers and an emcee who made lots of misogynistic comments, with the exception of Greg Warren. He was easily the funniest one of the night.

Dumb question but how do I listen to nat bargatze in the car? Does he have a podcast or some sort of special I can download? Or do you just recommend finding YouTube videos and listening to a standup show someone has recorded?
