You missed the boat. Better planning would have helped with this. Older kids should have gone earlier and not sure why you're having a 4th but trying to make up time with the older ones.

No to Disney

The summer heat will be bad pregnant or with baby.

I don’t think going with a baby in general sounds awful - when my kids were babies they were happiest in the stroller most of the day - looking around at the world and napping. I never in my life got in more steps than that phase of just walking them everywhere. But I wouldn’t want to be outside all day with them in Florida heat.

This sounds miserable for kids who don’t really care about Disney. Just plan another fun vacation.

I went at 34 weeks and was sitting in a chair watching the Jedi Academy thingy and a cast member came over to tell me I couldn’t sit there but when I stood up he saw I was hugely pregnant and was so embarrassed and told me it was ok and I could keep sitting there.

You’ve missed the boat with your oldest. Don’t go pregnant!

I haven’t been to an amusement park in a long time, but I think Disney parks are only good for children about 4 to 7 who like the baby rides and think the Disney characters are real, or for older relatives who have health problems or psychological issues that keep them from going on scary rides.

I remember going to Disney World when I was 9 and being shocked by how boring the rides were, and thinking the same thing when I went there again a few years later.

My understanding is that a lot of Six Flags parks have gone downhill, but the secret for people ages 8 to heart-problem age is to look for healthy Six Flags-type parks that have relatively easy access to a lot of scary rides, not to burn money by going to Disney and waiting in long lines for boring rides.

For a Florida trip, I think going to the Cocoa Beach area for a combination of surfing, hanging out on the beach and going on a Kennedy Space Center tour is a much better value than going to the Orlando area.

Go now, but expect to be turned away from rides. Many of them have rules that pregnant mothers cannot ride (including the safari at Animal Kingdom).

Pregnant at Disney in summer heat? Hell no.

Dragging an infant? Also a no. Wait 3-4 more years

Option C. Don't bother if your kids aren't into Disney.

I would go now or do the one in CA instead. That is all my kid ever saw (ie, we favored international travel), and she was very content.

The weather is much better.

I'd either send your spouse with the kids or put this off until your baby is old enough to have at least an MMR.

+1, I'd just wait until the baby was 1 or something. Being pregnant will make it hard for you to enjoy it at all, whereas a 1 year old in a stroller will likely nap and can be plied with food to make it fun for everyone.

+2. I also caught the worst respiratory virus there and was miserable since I couldn't take various meds while pregnant.

I'd go now. I don't think I'd want to bring a small infant into a crowded place like disney. People have so many germs. You would need to make absolutely sure you stay really really hydrated, being pregnant. But I think you guys would have a good time.
