Emory yes, WashU is just like Vandy. Don't submit if under 1530.
What a farce. WashU and Emory are the poster children for obfuscating their low SAT scores.

1,847 freshman total
Only 538 enrolled freshman submitted an SAT. Of those 270 scored above 1530.
1,309 enrolled freshman did not submit an SAT.
It is safe to say that 85% of enrolled freshman are below this fictional median of 1540.
Emory is no better. They both pretend to have such high student test scores. Given Emory's history of publicizing false SAT scores, I guess this is the other way they try to pretend to be more selective than they really are.
