Um no? I don't wear underwear with PJs. I have PJ sets of pants or shorts with a shirt.
I shower before bed, and also wear clean cotton underwear under my PJs. No sleeping nude. So, I would use 2 underwear a day (morning and night), and I could make do with 4 PJs, but optimal is 8 PJs.
Why is clothes in luggage an issue? Are you not using vacuum bags to reduce bulk?
