Platner (BY HIS OWN ADMISSION, please don’t delete the post and sanitize the thread) is rated 100% disabled by the VA for PTSD, which causes neurochemical brain damage- sometimes permanent- and mental health/behavioral problems not unlike what is suffered by some stroke patients.

I’ve spend decades working with PTSD and other mental health patients, and just over a decade with stroke and dementia patients, so have a volume of real world experiences with the personality and reasoning issues that these various conditions cause.

Just keeping the record straight.

Hey aipac troll you are conflating things. His disabled categorization is a VA benefit term given his tours of service, and doesn’t necessarily imply he can’t or shouldn’t work or that he is now mentally disabled. He’s clearly quite smart and coherent and you just hate that he doesn’t support Israel

DP.
I don't care that he doesn't support Israel.
I do care that he donned a Nazi tattoo for 17 years. And, his claim that he was unaware of what it was.... totally unbelievable. You think a tattoo artist didn't inform him if there was any doubt?
I also care that he has not only downplayed sexual assault, but actually blames victims of sexual assault for being assaulted.

He is a complete phony.

Here you go again, aipac loser.
It was a skull and cross bones and he’s apologized for it.

You are such a desperate troll and willing to peddle lies and half truths.
it’s a totenkopf. Don’t you dare try to claim it’s a pirate ship flag

And yet, on the flip side, he also faces criticism that’s he’s not truly working class, having gone to Hotchkiss for a bit & with his dad…

We all just need to get behind him & get rid of Collins!!!

How isolated are you?

Do you not know a college-educated person who has a blue-collar job?

I know a brilliant man who went to Amherst who works as a carpenter. He rejects the corporate culture and likes working with his hands and on his own.

So, if my friend ran for Congress--which he could as he's brilliant--you'd criticize him for cosplaying at being blue collar just because he went to Amherst???

My friend (and Platner) has a blue collar job!! He isn't pretending to be blue collar, and neither is Platner. This is how they have chosen to make their living.

Now Platner wants to be in the Senate for very good reasons, and I support him. If I lived in Maine, I'd vote for him.

I think PP’s issue is that he is not from “the struggle” and is actually just a spoiled rich kid who had a choice to play working class. He has a lot in common with AOC, who was also a privileged kid who cosplays as working class for votes.

Bernie Sanders grew up in the housing projects. He knows what it’s like to struggle because he has no other choice but to struggle as a child. It’s a different experience, that’s all, and we need more politicians who actually grew up in the struggle and less sons and daughters of privilege. People like Christopher Smalls.

AIPAC trolls are posting this crap all over. They are doing everything they can to undermine Platner.

It won't work. Support for Israel is at its lowest point in decades if ever.

America wants change, and Platner is the next direction for Maine. Susan Collins is toast, finally. Good riddance.

What link do you need? His dad is a lawyer - check the bar registration in Maine. His mommy still owns a restaurant, which is basically the place he sells most of his oysters. He’s been bankrolled by mommy and daddy most of his adult life when not being bankrolled by the US taxpayer. He was expelled from Hotchkiss his freshman year for non attendance and went on to attend John Bapst, a less expensive private school in Bangor Maine where he graduated from. He took courses at GW for six years but never completed any degree.

You can find all of these facts in his stump speeches that are all over YouTube, or in the reporting about him and his campaign. No big reveals here and no slander.

There YOU go again, Nazi lover.
It was a Totenkopf. If it was merely a skull and cross bones, why would he need to apologize?

Here is a cap from a German SS uniform. Same image as his tattoo that he wore for over 17 years.
