Really depends on how much money you have.
Just because you can throw money away, doesn’t mean it’s worth it.

Worth is a subjective term.
Toyota could be very worth it to you, but not Lexus.
Lexus could be very worth it to someone, but not Bentley.
But you have to show a value added with respect to the cost.
College is not worth $400k .. you don’t increase in value for the investment. It’s waste of money but some people have money to waste.
There is no value to having a Bentley it’s for your ego.
Everyone's expectation and experience will be different. You'll navigate a different stream in Boston than western MA, even if the steering of the boat is not markedly different.
I entered Georgetown valuing the balance it offered between education and its proximity to a vibrant, aspirational city. It was intoxicating to "young me" and I thrived in that environment in a way I don't believe I would have in the middle of the state at our flagship, despite being far more affordable and academically equivalent. I know with certainty I would not be where I am today without my years at Georgetown and the opportunities and connections I made. Would I be just as well off? Or better off? Possible, but less likely. Of course not everyone needs/wants what I needed.
