I loved my rural SLAC (2000 students). My friends who went to bigger schools can’t believe I’m still in touch with so many people from my college class- decades later. That being said, my kid chose a mid-sized urban university that feels more “spread out” socially, due to its being in a city and close to other colleges/universities. As a PP said, one size doesn’t fit all.
