Someone told me white jeans = butt stuff, and I don’t think it’s true but it doesn’t stop me from thinking “butt stuff” every time I see someone walking around in white jeans

Btw I think it's dumb when subcultures decided to appropriate common symbols as their own. Pineapples have long had a social meaning of warmth and home -- it used to be a common gift at a housewarming party and pineapple imagery in door decor was a way of conveying welcome to guests. If swingers want upside pineapples to mean something different, okay, but you can't expect it to also *stop* meaning what it has always meant.
So I think it would be dumb for you to stop wearing your dress over this.

If you don't hang out with DCUM people, you shouldn't have a problem. LOL.

While I’m not in the community, I assure you that yes, it is going on all around you.
Hotwives are sort of like Fight Club: the first rule of Fight Club is . . .

Normal people don't put pineapples upside down.

Lifestyle’r here-
It’s an old throwback to the Victorian-era, when pineapples were a symbol of “welcome” among the wealthy class. You could see them rendered in wrought iron fencing, stained glass, frescos, floor tiling, etc.
And it’s not really “swingers”, to us as a community, it’s “lifestyle couples”. Swinging is more of a verb, not a noun for us. We are a lifestyle couple, and we swing with other couples/groups.
I’m the one who asked the question. I knew that pineapples were a symbol of welcome and thought it was still might mean that today. I can’t help but be sort of sad that is also taken on this meaning.
