They did. They went thru the menopause without hormone treatment and they have osteoporosis, Alzheimers, low muscle tone, and joint pain.
My mom (82) had none of that. She looks and moves like a 60-year old. No HRT

Tin foil hat time, I think HRT is widely used so men can control women. We are expected to be pleasant and look youthful, so HRT. I know it has genuinely helped a lot of women, and some need it medically, but my hot take is for many on HRT is it used to control us, menopause is a natural process

Cancer
False.
Not false. Just not as high a risk as previously reported.

None of those are issues in my family history or with self.
In fact, sisters, mother, female cousins all have problems with replacement hormones- whether the Pill or HRT. Bloating, moods, breakthrough bleeding, headaches, etc, We hit menopause late (56-57) and after one “transition” year, have no symptoms.
Women live long, no Alzheimer’s/dementia or weak bones (thick bones) and look young in our family.
It should not be a blanket statement that every woman should use this stuff.

I was put on the patch and ended up in the ER with chest pains, diffculty breating, and heart palpitations. As soon as I took the patch off, I was back to normal. I guess I just can't tolerate it.
You've “tolerated” estrogen your entire life since puberty.
