NOVA schools are on spring break this coming week and some schools have games on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday right after they come back. No wonder HS players are consistently dealing with injuries. As a prior poster mentioned, if you are serious about playing college soccer you should really re-consider whether HS soccer is the right thing to do for you. SMH.
Oh no the kids are on vacation for a week, now they need more time to rest before the scheduled games the following week.
Obviously you have no clue about sports performance and the impact on the body.
Really, did they have a week off from spring break.
So after most being off for a full week (yes some do continue working), you get them back and on the 1st two days you throw them into games? OK
This has been going on every season, what is the problem? Is springbreak new this year?
Start the games middle of the week not the 1st day. Build up the work load.

Please. Athletic kids are not taking the week off from activity. A game the week they return to school is not a hardship. At all.
+1
The parents who don’t let their kids play HS soccer are pushing them too hard for some college scholarship they may or may not get.
