Street parking is a hardship you deal with when you live in urban walkable areas for the privilege of having easy access to amenities and transit. This is not a walkable area, so you will be driving everywhere. Yes, snow, heavy rain, storms, having guests over or repair people, etc can make it annoying to deal with street parking, having at least a carport is life changing.
