If they truly did carry out this crime and were happy afterwards, they need evaluations for Special Education for emotionally disturbed students.
No, they do not. I guarantee every single one of these teens is already receiving a plethora of school-based interventions to little avail because their parents are not pulling any weight at home. Don't throw good money after bad.
Just stop. You truly have no idea. Oftentimes the kids are acting out trauma that far exceeds “permissive parenting”. I wish that people like you had even a single clue. Until then maybe just keep your opinion to yourself.
Oh really? Please enlighten us. Trauma, which we don't even know is a factor here, is not a valid excuse for violence. These teens cornered and stabbed a man. It could've ended horribly for them. Schools do what they can but these issues are not on the school system to fix.

50k is wildly inappropriate for a cut to the arm. Focus on real crime.
There were 7 juvenile delinquents with seven knives and that would be 7 cuts at $10,000 for each cut and the reward should be $70,000.
To be as cavalier as you are then one of these hooligans must belong to you

They were clearly having fun as a group of idiot kids. Capacity for violence is normal juvenile male behavior.
They need supervision and discipline, not therapy.
Their actions are not normal juvenile male behavior. You probably think it's normal for juvenile males to set ducks on fire, skin cats alive, tape dogs' mouths shut, etc. Yes, they need structure, supervision, and discilpline. They also need therapy and an eval for special education services.

It seems like the school-based CEOs could probably identify these kids quickly.
