Oh a year after the begging for truth he confessed because as he said "there's another woman" and he worked with that other woman and got fired - that's the only reason he confessed would never of told me.

It happened before I knew you - nope!
I thought you would think it was hot - nope!
I had to say goodbye to my ex - um ok we were dating for 3 years.
You name it anything but accountability

Liars and cheaters lie and cheat. So yes, you have to show proof or they will often gaslight you into oblivion forever.

Oh, I gotta here more!

“Talked” her way into it? Are you sure that’s what her mouth was doing?

What even worse is that her shenanigans went on for years before I ever found out. The two dudes in the MMF were an interesting mix because one dude was an ex-con used car salesman and the other was a former NFL player and I’m not even joking. Turns out she caught a permanent STD from one of them so I had to get tested and was in the clear. The whole situation sucks, but looking back, yea, it could be made into a dark humor sort of movie.

Oh, and I just learned recently that she was never “laid off” from her very high paid corporate C-suite gig. Nope…I learned years later that she got caught blowing the COO in the parking garage, but she played it so smoothly and talked her way into another high paying job within about it seven days.

Wow! I need her to meet my STBX-wonder how many stories will they pull and get away with!

An honest explanation would be more interesting to me, so that I can examine where everybody went wrong, and how it all happened (and I do include the non-cheating spouse in the everybody).

I think it would be hard for me to trust that a fast apology in this scenario would be sincere. Acknowledgment of what happened - "Yes, I did it in the library with Ms. Peacock" would be better than "I'm sorry." But I also am not in this position.

One person I know's first words when confronted with cheating were "I want a divorce" which at least seems to the point.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the family name is Peafowl. Her husband is Mr. Peacock. She is Ms. Peahen.

Why, yes, I am in love with you. Man, woman, whatever.
