And I explicitly put no siblings and had kids register through the venue for a head count beforehand.

We had a birthday party a few weeks ago and so many people brought siblings. It was a large public venue and we just received a larger bill for the extra people. I wonder if people realize siblings are not invited!!!

That's pretty ballsy when you know it costs extra for your other kid.
This just happened to me. Pissed me off majorly! AND, a kid brought a friend from a sleepover who my kid hates and monopolized her friends. Grrr! And I ended up with 4 siblings who I do NOT know! Wtf! I hope they understand that they will NEVER be invited to any event of mine ever again. Disgusting social behavior. They diminished my child’s bday party and cost us $125 extra!! I mean we can afford it but it was not just her friends it was a rude annoying extra and a bunch of siblings who did not even know my child.

It was not a group text. She asked me if she could drop off my child’s friend and sibling with me and if I could watch them. I said I won’t be responsible for sibling but friend can play with my child. Mom did not respond again. I arrived after they arrived, paid and went in already. The mom asked another parent and I never even saw the sibling. Mom was trying to find the younger sibling when I arrived. I never saw the younger sibling and did not take responsibility for her. This was a huge place. Very easy for kids to get separated.
Sounds like she found another solution. You said no and she moved on. What is there to handle? It was handled.

What parents since the beginning of time have done. You sound young.
I think there have been threads on this topic. You put it in the invite that you can’t accommodate siblings. If you’re already inviting 25 kids this can really drive up the price and take up the space allotment orherwise.

This. You can't just "drop a kid off". They need to pay, have a signed waiver, etc. They won't just let an unaccompanied kid in who hasn't paid, didn't get a wrist band etc. This doesn't sound like a party either, just a meet up.
??? Mom does all of this and then leaves. Trust, people like this know how to work the system!
If I’m not in charge, I’m not in charge. I’m not going to look out for that kid, buy them snacks, or anything. It’s between the parent and the business, not my problem.

Not a troll. I told the mom I couldn’t be responsible for the sibling so she asked another parent to keep an eye on her kid. I was a few minutes late so she asked another person. When the mom was leaving, she couldn’t even find the younger kid. I saw the other parent and her looking for her and I just chatted with some other parents. I actually never saw the younger sibling the entire time. Thank goodness I didn’t agree to watch her.
