I just love Sydney Kamlager-Dove asking those questions. And Noem trying so hard to pretend to be offended, but still showing why she never had a future in Hollywood, especially after the Mar-a-Lago makeover.

I would generally agree, but here the issue is an affair with a subordinate. That point should have been emphasized more.

And the subordinate was totally unqualified and had the position, and also way too much power, just because of the relationship.

This. It would be bad enough if the affair was with a subordinate who was a career federal employee or a Senate-confirmed political appointee. But it's way worse when the affair is the reason for their employment. To put it in terms that even Tommy Tuberville would understand, this is like when former Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino violated multiple rules to hire his mistress for a position where she was completely unqualified.
