If find social obligations a strange stressor. Something I don't relate to. Especially don't relate if a mere invite stresses them. If someone is going through a hard time, I would think, of course they should be included in plans. They can decline.

Afraid, there are some observances by others that do stress or end a friendship. I've had 2 parents pass and 2 inlaws pass and I'll admit if someone else is dealing w/loss a lot differently than I did, I may not be able to relate.

I'll give them a year. We we don't understand each other and can't find connection after a year, our personalities are not well suited.
