Yeah they did at the next school board meeting. For poor communication. Because many people were shocked they were closed Monday after they had plenty of time to plow their schools out and hadn’t done it and after they did nothing all weekend and still waited until late Sunday afternoon to notify of closure.

Anonymous wrote:Agreed. It seems like the casualness of it all ...similar to increase in frequency of religious holidays/teacher's planning days that don't consider the difficulties of parents. In a pinch, Middle School kids can be by themselves but for elementary school kids, these days off are stressful and extremely inconvenient. A rare day here or there is understandable, but a whole week is nuts.
In addition, many parents come from regions in which snow and ice are commonplace and have a hard time understanding why this is so novel.
