What does GDS or other Big 3 schools do to address this issue if it is so rampant?

Part of the problem is that it's advertised and sold EVERYWHERE and adults are also doing it more openly and prevalently. BIL takes all kinds of gummies and uses some kind of THC or CBD cream. I was low key shocked with DH's corporate law coworker took out nicotine mints and passed them around.

Agree. About 50% of the kids at a Big3 are super straight arrows. Many drive in from the suburbs for the top academics and don't party or vape and often they don't do much socially at all.
There are plenty of kids like this at each of the schools.

Then you have the party crew and they're at every school as well. I've had kids at 2 different Big3 schools and one never encountered any drugs in high school and didn't drink. The other was on the party circuit.

Exactly. Echoing some sentiments already expressed, this THC in the vape pens is not the same as in joints we passed around in the 80s. I keep hearing about kids with these toxic weed syndromes that have to take a year off from school. Google CHS. The parents are part of the problem because of ignorance and indifference. And I’m speaking as a parent who had trouble reigning in one of my kids.
