How do HM graduates do in the securing a job outside of CA versus those who graduated from a public flagship with a reputable engineering school?

One app for all and you get admitted to the best fit or rejected from them all.

You can just apply to them then? I’m not sure the reasoning you have. They have separate admissions departments and schools.

You might as well say the entire Ivy league should work off of one application.

Harvey Mudd differs significantly from the others by being STEM focused.

HM these days also is a lottery for admissions. They receive many more well qualified applicants than they have openings.

CA poster here. My husband went to Pomona back in the day. It's a nice place, but a bit of a bubble, in a small-ish town that has a suburb feel. LA is not close but you can get there in 1-1.5 hrs.

There is easy mixing between the schools but they do have attitude about each other.

Hogwarts house comparisons are shared by tour guides of each school (except CMC lol):

Pomona: Griffyndor
Mudd: Ravenclaw
Pitzer: Hufflepuff
Scripps: Beaux-batons
Claremont Mckenna: Slytherin
