WTF? No one hunts deer in the close-in suburbs around here!

Hunting season ended TWO MONTHS ago in the places where deer are hunted.

DP. Could you really be this ignorant? There are controlled hunts every year, even in the "close-in suburbs". The hunters have to register and they use bows. It's an effective way to manage the deer population, and in fact, is going on right now. Maybe educate yourself before calling others liars.

White tail deer don’t migrate at ANY time of the year


They actually do move in northern climates between more open summer feeding grounds and more sheltered wintering areas.

I hear you OP. I wonder if what we should be doing is arranging a temporary transport program, to move the deer someplace warmer, further south, until the storm and severe weather passes, and then bring them back.
