Why did Dr Taylor play the victim at the outset of his presentation?

I have not actually heard a single "yay H" in real life. I'm not super invested, but from a governing standpoint, it will be very interesting if H is the recommendation, because you can't help but wonder why and how? Everyone affected by it (Wootton and Gaithersburg) seems opposed to it. I can't think of another local-level governmental action that has been taken in the face of such unified public opposition - but I'm hardly an expert. Would be curious if anyone has any examples of times a governing body has moved forward with a decision or policy that was basically universally panned.

They're most likely moving forward with the 6 region model. Already built into the budget and operations like summer school 2026. But wait, BOE hasn't voted on it yet...

Yamil Hernandez, a Gaithersburg City Council member, is in favor of a modified H. Gaithersburg City Council and the Crown community are mostly concerned with local kids going to the local high school rather than them being bussed out of the way.

If a holding school must be part of the plan, then the Gaithersburg / Crown side supports H over the other 3 holding school options.
