My wife was more attractive "fat" thank skinny under weight loss drugs. She has aged significantly, all her curves are completely gone. It's weird, you would think losing weight makes you look younger.

I did support her and used to compliment her. Problem is she believed me and thought she looked good and I found her attractive. She wasn’t putting much effort in losing weight. Being honest with her has made our marriage much better

Something I've always found extremely classy is when men (or women) give their spouse a genuine compliment within earshot but TO someone else. Like telling guests how good a dish they made is, or noting how nice the look, or saying how great they were with the kids earlier in the day. When people do this, I always think "wow, they must really love their spouse, that's great." Something about bragging on your spouse in that way just feels extra nice.

You don't call a person you love a fat wife. You say my wife who has weight issues. You don't ask her to loose weight, you ask her to eat healthy, workout and get annual medical check up.

I did try the bolded for over a year but she wasn’t getting the message. Finally I had to be more direct and it is working out much better
