Most of us did if we were born / raised in the US. But i've heard tell about my friends were not raised here. I also stayed in a Brazilian house where the maid came and had our breakfast made before we arrived and had dinner made before she left. AFter dinner, we just left our stuff all over the place. If I had a maid, she'd have to clean up after dinner too..

No one writes about the MILLIONS of people who have care givers and helpers that do not defraud or kill. It's boring.

I wear bathrobes all day long. My socks don’t match.

Eat what I want, when I want. Mostly I’ll do stuff like get a bunch of takeout at once and either eat it over a few days to a week or freeze portions for later. If I wanted to have eggs/bacon I’d make a bunch at once and freeze those portions.

Last week I was in the mood to make English muffins in my electric skillet, toasted them and assembled about a dozen spam/velveeta breakfast sandwiches.

Everything is on my own schedule and I like it that way

I do have a free app on my phone that I check in with every morning by 9am or else it texts my emergency contact. I don’t care if I check out but the idea of my pets starving is intolerable to me.

Aren’t we all going to have personal robots to do all this?

My fear is ending up in a nursing home where there is nothing good to read, nobody interesting or intelligent to talk to, with Wheel of Fortune on endless loop in the lounge, and activities like making toilet roll covers. And where the aides keep changing my radio from NPR to country music.
