Lifelong Dem here. Not blind but also not stupid enough to not see that Dems have been extremely disappointing. Pretend they are for the people, but aligned with corporate interests. And I agree, almost none of them could call the murder of thousands of children using our military a genocide, and the ones who did were primaried out of office by AIPAC. Enough already.

Democrats are pragmatists. They don't blow up existing structures and alliances. They work within the system to enact positive change. Biden was doing exactly that, it's just not thrown in your face witb a bunch of "only I can do xyz, and have succeeded like no one else ever".

If the Dems deserve a criticism it's that they don't let people know about the good stuff their doing and why.

They're all, with the exception of a handful in Congress, tied to big money in one way or another. 4 billion dollars were "donated" to these major political parties during the last election cycle.

Trump is indeed our biggest short term problem but we've got to figure out how to reduce the influence of money in politics. As it is, the ultra wealthy donors have a very impactful amount of control over our Federal Government and our best and brightest aren't entering the toxic political arena.
