I mean, I did, accidentally. I didn't know he would turn out to be a cheater.

I think what you should really be asking, OP, is whether you are in a healthy relationship with a healthy person. Committing to raise a child with someone (or potentially opening yourself up to him suing for custody or whatnot) are big decisions. Don't make them lightly.

My mom had me and my sister with my dad who was a cheater. She wasn't even old at the time, it was not her "last chance". And when all things are considered, we are happy to be alive even though our dad is not a good person.

I thought I did find a suitable partner but he cheated a lot and it was my first relationship and I ended up leaving him or mutually break up but he tried to cheat with me on his girlfriend now wife who accepted the cheating. So it makes me wonder because I'm now talking to a man who had an ex leave him because he had cheated before but he says he would never do it again and that he had taken her for granted. And he is very determined to make it work


Are you OP? So you are TALKING to a man who has cheated and you're asking if you should have a baby with him. Get into therapy, STAT.

Yes, if you want to live in searing pain while you're up all night with an infant alone, then in searing pain for the rest of your life while you deal with all of the hard inglorious work of raising an actual child.

Or you could adopt.

Absolutely, I would. A lot of men cheat nowadays or will cheat eventually.
Have your baby and leave him. You don’t need him to raise your child. Plenty of kids are raised by single mothers. Time is running out. Don’t let infidelity prevent you from having a baby.
