How are Mark Ruffalo in 13 Going on 30 and Ralph Macchio in TKK villains???

Ruffalo is an a-hole no matter what he does. Macchio was clearly a manipulative passive-aggressive psychopath in TKK…everybody knows that.

Christoph Waltz in Inglorous Bs
Andrew Scott in Sherlock
Gary Cole (Lumberg) in Office space
Dean Winters (The Vulture) in Brooklyn 99
Will Arnett (Devon) in 30 Rock

The latter two are more love-to-hate mean guys, not so much villains.

Loved Michael B Jordan in Black Panther. He was so compelling.

Definitely an amazing performance

Really? I remember her as just being petty, an adult version of the spoiled, little rich girl. Maybe they recast her and we remember different Tracys. I would have thought Sonny Corinthos was the “better” villain.

The frontman from squid games. Quite a complex character.

He’s a slightly evolved version of his crooked cop father. He’s in it to win, and willing to break the rules for that goal. He is known for sexually exploited his ADAs. Were trained to see him as a good guy because of his usual roles and Sam Waterston’s personal politics, but Jack is not a good person or an ethical prosecutor.

Cruel Intentions is the first thing that came to my mind. IIRC it was inspired by Dangerous Liasons. Another good John Malcovich in Portrait of a Lady with Nicole Kidman.

Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass (and almost everyone else) in Gossip Girl.
