I don't know, some of those questions must not be intuitive because they lead to interesting answers. To me, the obvious answer if people won't "let" you eat is just, eat. But people will respond that you are supposed to have packed nonperishable granola bars to eat in your room and then hide the wrappers discretely. I find that bizarre but posters act like that is the obvious correct advice.

People in this forum lack your background knowledge and experience. Some seem to be supportive because they may come from a similar culture (remember we are in a huge country made by people who came from other countries).

While I don’t disagree with this, I just scroll by rather than respond rudely.

So many of those posts make me question how clueless so many educated people are. People who need advice about spoiled food, how to parent their own kids when their partner is on a business trip, what to do with their kids on an unscheduled day off, and so many more.

Scary that so many adults have such poor executive functioning skills. But still no need to be as rude as so many people are on here.

There are people that come here to say things that they wouldn’t say in person to people because they are based in racism and classism among other things. In the real world, we don’t need to be nice to everyone and we shouldn’t. If a potential mass murderer or abuser came on here asking for advice and it was obvious he was a creep, should we all be super nice and tolerant? See how this works?
